Privacy policy

Effective October 20, 2026.

This policy covers Conjured Wares, a site where role-playing game players put their own characters on printed goods and buy them from a store only their Guild can see. A Guild is a private group on Conjured Wares, such as a gaming party, whose members share characters and a store. This policy says what we collect and why, who else receives it, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it. We do not sell your personal information.

You must be 18 or older to use Conjured Wares. When you sign up, you confirm that you are 18 or older and agree to our terms, and we create your account only if you do. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we delete it.

What we collect and why

Account. Your email address, the name your sign-in provider sends us, the sign-in methods you use (Google, Discord, Apple, Amazon, or an emailed link) and the sign-in records they give us. We never ask for a password. We use this to sign you in and to email you about your orders and your account. Other members of your Guilds see the name on your account, never your email address.

Age confirmation. When you sign up, we record that you confirmed you are 18 or older, when, and which version of our terms you agreed to.

Your art and words. The images you upload, your characters' names and descriptions, the quotes and titles you add, your Guild's name, and the designs you build from them.

Orders. Your name and shipping address, what you ordered, prices, tax and shipping, and each order's payment and delivery status. You enter your card details on Stripe's checkout page; we never see your full card number.

Messages to us. Appeals, takedown complaints and other email you send us.

Technical information. Your browser type and the times you sign in, used to keep you signed in and to protect the site.

Cookies. We use only the cookies needed to sign you in and keep the site working.

Tracking by other companies. Cloudflare, when it checks that you are a person as you sign in, your sign-in provider, on its own sign-in page, and Stripe, on its checkout page, collect information about your device and network under their own privacy policies, for security and their own purposes. We use no analytics or advertising trackers.

Do Not Track. We do not track you across other sites, so our site works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

What we do with your content

We use your content to screen it, prepare it for printing, show it to your Guild, have our team review it, make previews and mockups, and print what is ordered. We also use it to handle appeals and complaints, keep content held for legal review, keep a fingerprint of images we block or hold so they cannot be uploaded again, report suspected illegal content to the authorities as the law requires, and answer valid legal requests. Beyond that: We do not use the content for anything at all. Not training, not marketing, not galleries, not analytics on the images, not examples in support. This is our promise about our own use; the companies below work under their own terms.

Your Guild's designs are shown only to its members. Someone who ordered a design can still see it in their orders after leaving the Guild.

Who receives your information

Your Guild. Art you share into a Guild can be seen by every member of that Guild, who can make designs with it.

Our team. A person on our team reviews every order before it prints, and sees the art and words in it. Our team also reviews uploads our checks flag and any appeal you send.

Screening. Amazon Rekognition checks every upload. Claude, by Anthropic, checks every upload, every design and the text you write. Anthropic's commercial terms do not let it train its models on what it checks, and we have opted out of Amazon using what it checks to improve its services.

Printing. Our print provider, Printify, and the print shop that makes your item receive the print file of each item you order and your name and shipping address, after our team approves the order; the carrier that delivers it receives your name and address. Printify keeps print files under its own terms, which give Printify a broad licence over files it receives, including to promote its service. We cannot make Printify delete them.

Payment. Stripe processes payment, calculates sales tax and screens for fraud. It receives your card details, email and shipping address, and plain item names such as "Tee, Navy / L"; it never sees your images or character names.

Service providers. Companies that host our site and data, send and receive our email, and run our sign-in checks process your information for us. Each keeps what it receives under its own privacy policy.

The authorities. We report content to the authorities when the law requires it, such as apparent child sexual abuse material, which we report to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. We also answer valid legal requests.

How long we keep it

When we block an image or hold one for legal review, we also keep a fingerprint of it, a short code computed from the image from which the image cannot be rebuilt, so we recognise it if it is uploaded again.

Deleted information can remain in our encrypted backups for a limited time, until those backups expire.

Your choices

Your "Your stuff" page lists your art, designs and orders; each piece of art and each design has a delete button.

You control your art. You choose which Guild each of your characters goes into, and whether to share it there. You can take a design that uses your art off sale, or delete the art itself; we then stop offering the designs that use it. Orders already placed still print and ship.

If a Guild leader removes you from a Guild, you keep your art, and the Guild's designs that use it stop being offered. Art that is on none of your characters in a Guild and in no design in a Guild Store is deleted within 9 days.

When you leave a Guild or delete your account, we ask whether to hand the characters you shared only into that Guild to a Guild leader you choose. Nothing is handed over unless you say yes. If you say no, the Guild's designs that use them stop being offered; orders already placed still print.

You can change your name in your account settings and delete your account at any time, unless it is suspended. To ask what we hold about you, or to correct or delete something you cannot change yourself, email privacy@conjuredwares.com. We answer within 30 days, and may ask you to confirm the request from your account's email address.

How we protect your information

Images are stored encrypted, uploads are checked for malware before anyone sees them, and our staff sign in with a passkey or a one-time code.

Conjured Wares runs in the United States and ships to US addresses only.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we email every account holder and post a notice on the site at least 14 days before it takes effect. A change the law requires, one that applies only to a new feature you choose to use, or one that only adds to what we give you, can take effect sooner, and we tell you when we make it. If a change would let us use your content or information about you for a new purpose, it applies only to what you give us after the change, unless you agree.
